My Photo Adventure

City Scapes

Downtown Raffles Place, in the heart of Singapore’s Financial district, lies plenty of charm in the old juxtaposed against the skyscrapers.

My memories of what is now The Fullerton Hotel, were ones that were that of the postal general office. The mighty GPO was a hive of activities of people paying bills, buying first day covers and stamps, sending parcels to far away places and the like. The building has history that dates back to 1829 where it’s northern section sits on what was Fort Fullerton. Gee that’s a long time ago.

At blue hour, the lights from the bridge and hotel shone through so beautifully
